Oliva is a municipality in the Valencian Community. Located in the southeast of the Iberian Peninsula, in the District of La Safor, bathed by the Mediterranean Sea. It has 28.400 inhabitants (INE data 01-01-2011).

GEOGRAPHY

It is located in the Central Valencian regions, bordering the coast with Denia (Marina Alta), and the North coast which Piles (also of la Safor). The greater part of the area urban of olive is located to 5 meters on the level of the sea.

The municipality of olive has a 59,61 Km2 extension borders the following towns: L'alqueria de la Comtessa, La Font d' carts, Piles and Vilallonga, (all of la Safor) and Atzúvia, Denia and the region of the Mari Pego
